When you accept a job, a small refundable hold is placed on your card as a commitment to complete and settle the job on Flexr. Release depends on the job being completed and paid through the app.

The hold exists to keep work and payment on Flexr. Complete the job on the app and the hold is normally released; cancellations, disputes, or off-platform activity follow the rules shown before acceptance and in the Terms.

  • Completed and paid on Flexr? Hold released under the fixed-price or estimate rules above.
  • Job cancelled, not completed on Flexr, or taken off-platform? The hold may be kept as a platform fee — refunds in those cases are at our discretion.
